Our Commitment to Responsible Play
We built Richar Casino as a place for entertainment — the thrill of the spin, the strategy of the table, the excitement of a big win. But we know that for some people, gambling can become a problem. Our commitment is to make responsible gambling tools easy to find, simple to use, and genuinely effective — not buried in a settings menu or hidden behind a support ticket.
Every tool described on this page is available free of charge to all registered players. None of them require you to explain yourself to a support agent. They're self-serve, immediate (decreases take effect instantly), and designed with one purpose: giving you control over your own experience. We never market to players who have activated responsible gambling restrictions, and we never use their gaming history to target them with promotional offers.
Deposit Limits
You can set a daily, weekly, or monthly cap on how much money you deposit at Richar Casino. Once you reach your limit for the period, the system automatically blocks further deposits until the limit period resets — even if you delete the limit, you'll need to wait 48 hours before a higher limit takes effect. This cooling-off period is intentional: it prevents impulsive decisions from overriding a limit you set when you were thinking clearly.
To set or adjust your deposit limit: go to Account Settings → Responsible Gambling → Deposit Limits. Changes that reduce your limit apply immediately. You can stack limits — for example, a $100 daily limit and a $300 weekly limit simultaneously.

Session Reminders & Loss Limits
Time can disappear quickly when you're playing. We offer session time reminders — pop-up notifications that appear after a set interval (30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours) to remind you how long you've been playing. These aren't forced disconnections: they're a tap on the shoulder. What you do with the reminder is up to you.
Session loss limits work differently — they cap how much you can lose in a single gaming session before you're automatically logged out. To re-enter after hitting a session loss limit, you must wait a minimum of 15 minutes. This mandatory break is designed to disrupt the cycle of chasing losses in a single sitting. Both tools are available under Account Settings → Responsible Gambling.
Self-Exclusion
If you feel you need a complete break from gambling, self-exclusion closes your account for a period you choose. Options range from 24 hours right through to permanent closure. During any active self-exclusion period, we will: block your login, cancel any pending withdrawal requests (returning funds to your last-used payment method), and suppress your account from any marketing or re-engagement communications.
Temporary exclusions (up to 6 weeks) can be activated through your account settings without contacting support. For exclusion periods of 6 months or longer, please contact our support team directly — we'll process the request within 30 minutes. Permanent self-exclusion cannot be reversed. For shorter periods, re-opening is only possible after the exclusion expires and a 7-day cooling-off period completes — this extra week is there to protect you from acting impulsively.
24 hours
Immediate cool-down. Self-serve in account settings.
1–6 weeks
Short-term break. Self-serve. 7-day cooling-off before return.
6+ months
Extended break. Processed by support within 30 minutes.
Permanent
Cannot be reversed. Account is closed and data flagged permanently.
Signs of Problem Gambling
Problem gambling often develops gradually — it's rarely a sudden switch. Here are patterns that can signal gambling has stopped being entertainment:
Spending more than you planned, session after session
Chasing losses — doubling up to recover what you've lost
Lying to friends or family about how much you gamble or have lost
Gambling with money needed for rent, bills, or food
Feeling irritable, anxious or depressed when not gambling
Borrowing money, selling possessions, or using credit to gamble
Failed attempts to cut down — trying and not managing it
Gambling feels like the main way you relax or escape stress
If you recognise two or more of these patterns in yourself, please reach out for support. There is no shame in it — problem gambling is a recognised health condition, not a character flaw. The organisations below can help, for free, without judgement.

Protecting Others in Your Home
If children or vulnerable adults share your devices, we recommend using third-party parental control software to restrict access to gambling sites. Tools such as Gamban (available at gamban.com) block access to thousands of gambling sites at the device level and are effective even if another browser is used. Net Nanny and Bark are also suitable for family environments with children.
Never share your Richar Casino account login details with anyone else. Your account is for your sole personal use. If you have concerns about a family member's gambling, GamblingHelpOnline also provides dedicated support services for friends and family members of people experiencing problem gambling.
